EGU General Assembly 2022

During the EGU22 conference in Vienna, we shared examples of our current research activities.

From 23 to 27 May 2022, this year’s General Assembly of European Geosciences Union (EGU) was held in Vienna. Peter, Lisa, Andreas and Christoph presented their research activities regarding the increasing groundwater temperatures in the urban subsurface, our testing and research field site in Halle, hydraulic tomography as well as seasonal thermal energy storage. Further, Peter co-chaired session “ERE5.4 – Underground Thermal Energy Storage, applications and associated processes in porous and fractured aquifers”. The conference was an exciting and interesting event with a successful hybrid exchange of scientific knowledge!
