In the last week of April, five members of our group attended the yearly EGU General Assembly in Vienna, Austria. Hesam, Maximilian and Peter gave presentations about their research on geothermal applications and subsurface warming, while Julia presented her work on urban groundwater ecosystems in the interactive PICO format. Finally, Christoph’s research on re-used structures for thermal energy storage draw attention at the concluding poster session. Besides the many interesting oral, poster and PICO presentations, there was time for inspiring exchange with colleagues from other universities and excursion to the city of Vienna.
