The Karl Zoeppritz Award of the German Geophysical Society (Deutschen Geophysikalischen Gesellschaft, DGG), which honors young scientists for excellent geophysical research, honored Lukas Römhild from our working group this year. The endowment for this award is 1,000 Euros and was officially handed over to him at the society’s annual meeting.
