About Me
My scientific focus is on heat transport in fractured geological media — a process that plays a crucial role in geothermal systems, groundwater circulation, and subsurface energy exchange. My research aims to develop and evaluate reduced-complexity models for simulating heat transport in Discrete Fracture Networks (DFNs), optimized for large-scale applications. I work with the heat.mat module of the DFNLAB software, with particular attention to balancing computational efficiency and physical accuracy.
